Just wanting to know if a male irn can have different partners. I have just bought a beautiful blue irn whose partner died . Somebody said today that here wont breed with another bird. Is this true it doesnt really matter because he talks and he's a good pet. Can anyone help please.
I am sorry to hear one of your Ringnecks died. There is nothing more frustrating and sad considering these parrots can reach their twenties and possible their thirties. If was a pet the news brings more sadness. 
Yes, a male ringneck can have different partners. A breeder who focuses on mutations will rotate males and females yearly. Female Ringnecks will ready accept a mate right before their breeding season too –even if they have never seen the male before. Ringnecks are not particularly picky about their mates as well.
So, to answer your question, it can be done.
