Is my IRN Moulting

Post by Feather friend »

Hi all sorry I haven't been around lately only been busy training Indie
Well have got her eating out of my hand and she is very nosey. I wanted to ask as she is now looking a bit scruffy she is about 6 months and I wanted to know if this was because she is moulting .(by the way not sure if it is a she but my daughter thinks so )

Sounds like it. :)

I like to feed our birds hard-boiled eggs (with shell) for the extra protein for building new feathers while they're moulting. And of course lots of veggies and fruits!

I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay
