Hi,
Ive had my IRN for 5 years and have always been in a constant look out for new and exciting toy ideas that are cheap and easy to make.
Some of my favourites are:
The Paper Roll - its a bit of baking paper (unwaxed) with seeds, sultanas, nuts, cereal etc sprinkled on it, then rolled up and tied up with some string. IRN goes nuts trying to chew through the layers and get the bits out.
Wooden Pegs - clipped to just about anything are great for chewing and throwing around
Whole Almonds - in their shell. it takes a while for IRN to crack it but its worth the effort!
Please add any of your personal DIY favourites, im sure everyone's IRNs would like some new creative toys to play with!
