Please aproove or disaproove fruit/veg mix

Post by xo Missi »

Baby's fruit/veggie salad for this week (who knows what we'll pick up next week) I found a lot of these are okay acording to Bird Talk magzine but would like other opinions:

raw brocoli
organic blueberries
whole Chinese snow peas
raw baby carrots
organic green seedless rasins
raw orange bell pepper
organic tropical trail mix (banana chips, dates, dried cranberries, dried coconut, dried papaya, also honey roasted cashews but I am not giving her those as I assume they are bad for her?)

How does this sound?

That's a menu that I'd like to eat, yumyum.

It is a great variety of foods that you got for your fid and it is a healthy variety too, so good for him and for you.

Irn's like most parrots (actually birds in general) are omnivorous, that is they can eat most anything. In the wild the parents would show the fledglings how to eat and what to eat and the young birds would go off and do it.

The only two verified things that an Irn must not be able to get at and ingest is avaocado skin (the flesh is ok so guacamole is ok) and chocolate.

That is the entire verifiable list of no no's.

But you're likely going to hear alot of disagreement about that too.

I had just fed her a blueberry without checking to see if it was okay. So I freaked out and came to check for responces.
