man with out a plan, needs advice from smarter folks

Ok, I am trying to order some baby food for feeding chicks if I get lucky and they hatch,

what is recommended for Indian's.Also any things I could give my babygurl for added vitamins, extra special good for her type treats? And one more,which goes with the baby food what type or size of syringe should be used,I was not sure if they had different sizes for different birds,I would assume they do.Thanks FIRST TIME MALEMOTHER :shock:

I have been reading so don't think I have not been looking for all my answers, think I will be ready,but some chioces I make could use real expreiance.Thanks

kaytees exact feeding formula its the best i know of

its what i and a couple other breeders i know use

im no pro i am just finishing my first clutch of chicks right now but that is my opinion

I raised my boy on the same thing and his color is amazing... he is healthy, energetic and has personality plus.

Wouldnt use anything else. He loved it too.

thank you thats what I was going to order but as for the syrenge should I get the 35 or 60 I thought the 35 and the tubes, sound right to you.

They only need 10 CC's so whichever fits better in your hand/you prefer.

ok I ordered all the supplies I should need for the babies, and then I also order toys for everybody.And treats and a new cozy for my quaker Buddy. well now I hope all goes well, I watched as my male Louie was feeding my Babygurl as she sat on her eggs.I was wondering though does the male help feed the babies or just the mother feed them.

I have fed all my chicks on heinz baby food. Of course, you only get the vegetable or fruit varieties. I would warm up portions and then just used a plastic spoon to feed them. My birds have all turned out well and i have had heaps of comments on the healthiness of my birds and the brightness of my yellow ones. Of course i couldn't find any hand rearing mix so this was all i could get.

I plan on using Scienic which is an all natural weaning formual. Exact has ethoxyquin in it which is not something I want to feed to my birds.

I use Vetafarm, an Australian brand. Vetafarm is by far the best h/r formula IMO because It contains NO soy products.
Stay away from anything with soy in it, it is deadly.

I use 12cc syrings for my Ringnecks.

The Males will either feed the female who will in turn feed the babies. Or both parents will take an active role in the feeding.
