What's the consensus out there regarding ringnecks in the wild & husbandry?
Do they change partners or they remain a bonded pair throughout their life?

Re: Wildtype Husbandry
My experience with flocking my IRN pairs out of breeding season is that very few remain 'paired' in the big aviary. A significant proportion of the breeding cocks go back to their 'mates' being other males they hung out with previously, often in threesomes. A lot of shall we say, same sex 'happenings'. After they are set up again they perform as they should. A warning however about re-pairing an experienced hen, they often murder their new husband. No issues with re-pairing an experienced cock with a 1st time hen.
