I've had my 2 yr old famale IRN for about three months, and am madly in love with her. She was a rescue who came from a less than ideal situation and is now flourishing.
That said, we are buying a house this spring/summer and I would like to get another IRN. However-- I want to do my research! Can anyone recommend a good resource about bringing a second bird into our home?
I do not plan on breeding them, but would like to get a male this time. I also want both of them as human companion birds, and would house them seperately.
Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

Advice in the bird world is incredibly varied, so I'll give you a search tool instead and you can balance the information against your reasoning and common sense.
Google these keywords "parrot adding to the flock" and you'll get a plethora of articles and forum topics from around the web.
