hi!
I have lutino hen and I want to pair her with some cock
which of these will be the most interesting?
-albino
-blue
-grey
-pallid green
-pallid blue
I thought about grey, what should be the colour of their chicks??
I live in Poland and it's hard to find some more attractive mutations..

Hi,
today some breeder told me that a good male for my lutino female will be turquoise blue
what do you think about it?

Molossus,
I'm from Poland..
I know that my knowledge about breeding and genetic is small, but I'm learning all the time
I asked about grey mutation, because I like this colour of IRN
and
it's easier to buy than clearhead or violet or other rarely mutations

Hi Nelson, this isn't a bad option. You mention violet in another post, but that would be a complete waste with a lutino, as a lutino violet will be a yellow bird. Not worthwhile considering the cost of violet.NelsonPL wrote:Hi,

Re: lutino hen with what??
Johan is correct about the violet, not that you were considering it. If you like gray tba I would get a gray pallid (lacewing) this would give you green and gray green lacewing split to blue females and green and grey green pallidinos (only males can be pallidino because it is a double sex linked mutation) split to blue, which not everyone has. Pair one of those grey green pallidino males to a turquoise hen and you would get : albino, lutino, creamino, blue-grey-green-grey green-turquoise-turquoise grey lacewing females. All your males would be solid versions of all the colors just mentioned split to either lacewing or ino. Any bird that is green will also be split to blue or turquoise. How about that !!!
Re: lutino hen with what??
That is 14 colors from one pair and you would not have to spend a penny on DNA because they are sex linked mutations .
