Post by FAHEEM »

hi there, ive recently purchaced an indian ring neck, according to the pet shop guy, he is roughly, 3 months old......not sure, if its a male or female as yet, yellow in colour, had a terrible incident this morning, he chiped his claw sumwhere in the cage, managed to stop the bleeding, using a lil anti septic liquid, seems calm, no odd behavior, will just administor, before taking him to the vet. just need to find out, apart from dna testing, is there any other way to tell, weather, its a male or a female??.....still un sure, of a name, any tawts on a name for a yellow ring neck.

The only other way aside from DNA testing is knowing for certain the bird is over 3 years of age as that is when the ring would appear on males. Or it lays an egg.

I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay
