uhmmmmmm so chocobo is about 5 months old and he's loosing heaps of feathers on he's head :/ he's going bald. theres no dried blood or scabs there, they are just falling out lol is this normal? plus he's feathers are really dirty. he hops in the shower with me about once a week and he baths in he's water dish a far bit so he is clean. isn't there a disease where their feathers go dirty and they go bald? thinking about taking him to a vet.

Hi Kimmy he could just be going through is first big mult they do loose alot of feathers at that time.

The dirty bit i am unsure of but if it is going to get the better of you take him to a vet.

ohhhhh okey he is going through a malt. just yuffie didn't lose that many feathers, might take him tomorrow! yer he's feathers are really dirty :/ its weird cause their cage gets cleaned like 3-4 times a week and he's always having baths/showers. dunno :/
