From SA to NT and back to SA again!

Post by ollierox »

Hi everybody!

Just want to say WOW what a fantastic website completely devoted to our beloved IRN's!!!

My partner and i moved to darwin a couple years ago where we adopted a 10 week old baby IRN whom we have named Olllie. (being unsure whether Ollie was actually a boy or a girl!). we have had Ollie now for just under two years and over this time we have witnessed some very peculiar behaviour!
I was hoping to read some much vital information on this website to help us identify our little man/woman and the actions he/she performs! and we look forward to hearing your thoughts and opinions!

we will post some fotos of our little champ very soon!

cheers

Hi Frank and Loz, welcome to the little ringneck community. :D

When I first saw ringnecks and fell in love instantly, so much so that I walked away with one of the babies! lol Have been "collecting" them ever since. Great range of colours to choose from and that looooong tail.

Looking forward to seeing the photos.

One of the things that amazes me is that although our birds exhibit individual behaviours.... so many of them seem to be the same... just because they are the same breed of bird.

Welcome to the forum.

One of our "baby's" peculiarities is that she hates toys with bells in them... can't stand anything with a bell at all.... any tools with bells get attacked until the bell is out... or it's on the floor!
