Fave Toys?

Post by MissK »

Would anybody care to give a good description of their Ringnecks's favourite toys?

My guys like toys that have small chunks of wood they can destroy.

Sanjay has a braided leather parrot toy which he loves, he likes anything with knots he can untie, and anything with a large bell he can ring for service. He also likes tassels, and cat toys made from bundles of feathers which he preens. I give Sanjay willow twigs to chew. He is'nt keen on foot toys', much prefers hanging toys.

There are preening toys out there designed to give over-zealous preeners something else to preen. I have seen others that have feathers on their toys. Someone on this forum made a bird toy out of a feather boa from a cheapie shop. I thought about doing that myself but all the feather boas I have found in cheapie shops had been dyed and I was worried that the dye might not be birdie safe.
