losing feathers!!!

hi,

my 1 and a half year old male IRN has just recently started loosing feathers. He is losing feathers from the top of his beak to heading up towards his eyes. im not sure why this is, can anyone offer any sugestions as to why this might be happening???

Where are you located?
It could be molting season. Here in South Africa this is that time of the year for our birds.
