Hi All
Our lutino IRN, Charlie, is just over two years old and is going through a moult. I took Janey & Charlie for a shower yesterday and when Charlie got wet I noticed that there was some red underneath some of his feathers... after getting over the panic caused by the initial thought that he was bleeding, I realised that it was the feathers for his red ring coming through. When he's not wet, you can faintly see a red feather or two starting to poke through. I'm not sure why, but seeing his "big boy feathers" made me so proud.... so I thought I'd share this with the only audience (other than my hubby) who I have any hope in sharing my excitement! We're very happy! I don't think Charlie knows what all the fuss is about but I feel like I should bake him a cake or something (if I only I could bake!).

Re: big boy feathers
How old is he? I'd given up on it for this year as I thought he was @ the end of his mount.
