Lutino female and unknown male

Post by Kikiiimariee »

I'm not sure what color either of my bird's parents are. And I have no idea what color my male is. If you look closely you'll see his body is a violet color, but his face is bright turquoise (I'm still learning about all these crazy colors, it's truly amazing!)
But I'm curious as to what color the chicks could be! :)

You will get visually green babies.
As long as the male isnt carring the ino gene.
And the hen isnt carying the blue gene.

Hi if the hen is split blue and the male is split ino then this is the results,

1.0 blue /ino
x 0.1 ino /blue

% from all 1.0 these are males
25.0% 1.0 blue /ino (blue)
25.0% 1.0 green /blue ino (green)
25.0% 1.0 blue ino (albino)
25.0% 1.0 ino /blue (lutino)

% from all 0.1 these are females
25.0% 0.1 blue ino
25.0% 0.1 ino /blue
25.0% 0.1 blue
25.0% 0.1 green /blue

I have put in brackets the actual colour the babies will be.
