He killed Tony Bird!

Post by vortmax »

Yes it's true....Tony bird has bitten the dust. First a little background for you all.

About 6 months ago, before Tony started talking all that much (during his sick days), I bought him a cat ball to play with. He proceded to chuck it off the top of his cage and break it in two withing 5 minutes of having it. So I laced it back together with some string and it became a fun toy for him.

After a month, it started to die again, so I just went out and bought 2 or 3 more cat balls that were much sturdier. Tony loved them. He would throw them around the bottom of his cage and chase them, hide them in his food bowls and water dish, dunk them in his water (making a real mess) and talk to them all the time.

It wasn't until recently when my fiance noticed he had a favorite ball. A green and purple one that seemed to take the brunt of the punishment. The more we paid attention, we realized he had named his ball Tony Bird. When you'd show him the ball he'd get excited and say "HI TONY BIRD" and he would carry him all over the cage. If he was eating his fruit, tony bird was on his leaf next to him so he could chat and eat at the same time. They even played peek-a-boo together and he would just hold him in his hand and shake him back and forth like a rattle (before savagly attacking him and throwing him across the cage)

Well after many months of being drowned, flung from high places, bitten and generally abused.....Tony Bird died. He split in two. Fortunatly, I was able to find his clone at the pet store. So now Tony has his friend back.....and about 20 more in waiting.

hahaha the day that he fell apart, I called my girl friend at work and told her that Tony Bird had died. She litterally dropped the phone. Once she managed to pick it up I told her noooo, TONY BIRD died. Then she understood and immediatly went over to pull as many of them off the shelf as she could find.

LOL

Well Tony Bird had a good life....sort of.

Besides the part where he was dragged around, dropped and flung about. He was a good play pal, a bit on the quite type I am imagining.

Glad there were clones....
