So my bird was able to open up a tic-tac container and he started eating on the Wild Cherry and Passion Fruit variety that you can get from Sam's clib for around nine dollars. I believe they were on sale. You can also get them packaged with both Wintergreen and the other one that's just like wintergreen but not as green- you know what I'm talking about.
So he really likes the tic-tacs and chews on them for hours. They also make his breath smell good, which is a bonus, since, for whatever reason, he sometimes smells like he's been playing in a septic tank while I've been at work. Maybe I need to clean his cage.
This brings me to my question- should the tic-tacs be marked up as a fruit or vegetable? I have him on a strict diet of tea leaves and whole carrots. Somtimes I'll throw in a Sharpie marker for him to chew on (he hasn't figured out how to take the cap off yet, don't worry). He always acts like he's hungry.
When I open the cage he walks out and bows to me, so I'm pretty sure he's happy with the majority of his confinement.
What do you think, any tips?
Thank you!!!

Re: Tic-Tacs
Can a mod deal with this idiot? Its kind of obvious through several of their posts that they are just here to start problems.

Dont waste your time arguing about what he is doing as that is all he seems to be here for.
This is a disorder called 'trolling'.
Cheers.
