Hi all.. my names Tess im a new Indian Ringneck owner but already in so much love with my little guy. I got him for my 22nd birthday, he's 8 months old and been hand raised so is a complete sweetheart! His name is Alfie. (Dont actually know the sex, so my he could turn out to be a she!) I've had a snoop through the site before i signed up and have found some great info and loved looking through all the photos. Will be good to join your little IRN family and learn lots more about my adorable pet.

Welcome Tess & Alfie. 
Alfie looks very sweet and cute, can see why you love him/her so much.
It looks like Alfie only has one wing trimmed? If so, I would recommend that both wings be trimmed evenly so Alfie can keep balance if s/he ever needs to flutter down to the ground. Even if you are planning on Alfie being fully flighted in the near future, I would still trim the flighted wing.
They sure do enjoy their baths don't they!
Looking forward to hearing all about Alfie and his/her antics.

Thanks, my birthday is actually today but ive had him for a couple of days now...
His one wing was already clipped when i got him and im planning on just letting them all grow back. I'm a bit nervous about cutting it myself and will probably take him to the vet if you think its necessary. Thank you for your help and thanks for the welcome!!
