I'd Like to say Hi to everyone and that i'm a total newbie that will be getting his first IRN's in about 2 weeks...I've always been a bird keeper of some sorts(right now mostly softbills and Finches out in my 27footx15footx10ft tall Aviary) And am excited to be getting these guys! so any beginner info would be great as i want to breed but also have 1 i want as a tame bird.
Thanks!!

Thats sounds like a nice large aviary you have. Bet the birds love you for it

How old and what color are your new IRNs?
Will you be keeping them indoors or out?
There is heaps of info on here about ringies.
I have found they love attention and food!!!! lol Give them that and you are half way to a happy bird lol.

well i have a lacewing female, a just coming into breeding age silver male and a young blue that I'm also getting from another pair. I think i'll keep them outside to start here in a cage i will make inside the aviary for them that way they have more space than i can give them off the bat in my house! and my actual bird aviary is mostly softbills and finches so its wood construction with a 1/2" heavy wire mesh closed on the back wall 2 and a 1/2 sides completely. Which i've had for 1 year now(built it in spring last year) and am always reworking to make it better for the birds
