Snorting?

Post by Lauren »

:? For the last half hour Yoda has been making horrible snorting and squeeking sounds! I hope hes just got something caught in the nares. He sounds like I do when I have the flue! He seems fine, eating and playing even trying to prene and kiss me! But the tongue is flickering and hes making horrible sounds? Anyone had this before? What could it be? :(

Have never come across this with any of my birds, if it goes on for too long I would get him checked out ! It could just be something caught ? Keep an eye on him ! Let us know how it goes, if it clears up soon.

Is it possible that he is copying you, when you say he sounds like you when you have the flu. If you think about it how do you have your tongue when you cough. I hope he is just copying and he isnt hurt.

Thankyou. It seems to have stopped after he had a bath. Might of been just someone up his nose. It just sounded like hes got a big booger! lol.

I havnt really been sick since we got Yoda so I'm not sure how he could of picked it up from me.

Yoda is talking happily to phone right now. Argh, they scare you sometimes!

My indian ring did that the first time I bought baba home. Since I live in the city I thought its breathing dust. Took him to the Vet all they said that it has alot mucus so he flush its nassul and gave me medication and a bill. 3 months later I end up taking baba to another vet and he told me its molding alot and he is congested and i need to give him alot of vitemen A. He recommeded to buy the oil capsule and give one capsule in its food once a week by dropping oil drops on the food. Once a week give him steam bath by open the shower in warm and let it steam up the shower area and leave baba there. So far baba is doing much better. I hope this helps.
