Never stops...

Post by Mikaela »

I give my India a 2 full containers of seed, a container of treats (usually papaya, raisins or sunflower mixed with peanuts). She never stops eating. Should I let her go on like this? Is there a reason she is doing this... meaning thats what birds do? She is 13 weeks old now. I noticed this last week. And if I dont give her more food, she continues to chew on her treat log. A 13 week Irn should be able to eat one of those AND half of the stick in a few days? Just seems like alot.

She is never in her cage but when she is, this is what she does. She can get into her cage from the floor as I have tied a rope with colored blocks on the bottom of her cage. She comes and goes as she pleases, nice as any bird can be at this age, has beautiful color, chirps. She seems very happy. Is all of this normal or is she a piggy? If she is eating too much, please offer advice.
