Hi from DownUnder

Post by CricketsMum »

Just wanted to say a BIG HI. This is my first time on this site and I love it. Everybody is so warm and friendly and the fact that you're all bird crazy is what I like. I have an IRN named Cricket and 3 cockaties (hopefully a lot more when my eggs hatch....I'm soooo excited). When I find out how to add a picture I will OK? Take care. Vera[/img]

I'm in the Northern Territory in Darwin, and contrary to popular belief we don't actually go around saying "CRICKEY"
Could you possibly give me a hint about how to post a picture? I'd love to share my beautiful Cricket... Thanks

Hiya and welcome to the family. :D Glad to have ya .. yaayyy another aussie, I'm in South Gippsland, Victoria.

Posting pics is relatively easy. You can use a free hosting site like http://www.imageshack.us .. make an account, upload your pictures (make sure to select the resize to 400x600 or smaller) and you will be presented with some url's (addresses) to post to the body of the message here. It will be the link that says for posting to a message forum or something to that effect.

we all use http://www.dropshots.com mainly for video but you can upload images to this aswell.

Does that rascal look bigger than an IRN (more the size of an Alex) or is it the cam/me?

To me, he looks far longer than 17 inches.

It must be the cam Mikaela. I've seen "baby" Alex's compares to IRN's and OMG, are they HUGE or what? Because they look so much like an IRN baby, I thought my breeder was breeding mutant monsters (lol).

Have a great day all!!!!!!!!!

welcome to board vera and mik that an Irn alex are like irn but a bigger and bulkier. Irn usually are more slim down versions. among other differences.
