Ino with cinnamon and pied.

Post by Youngspud »

I am unfortunate that my only 3 cinnamon cock birds are also split for ino.
With my cinnamon pied pair I will also get ino cinnamon pieds, am I correct in assuming they will visually appear as normal cinn ino with the pied being hidden or am I wrong?

You and I have two very different ideas about unfortunate... A crossed over cinnamon-ino gene pair is very rare. :D

As for your question, yes the pied will have very low expression once ino is introduced. Even cinnamon pied shows very little contrast in piedness already.

Haha yeh but in my circumstance I'd prefer the ino not to be there.
Not all cinn pieds are like that, I saw a few that still had the pied standing out with cinnamon involved, but not in blue series. The emerald cinn pied especially was very nice.
I have seen that video before he has some real nice pieds.
