fruit question

Post by Becx »

Does anyone feed these fruits to their IRN's? I'm not sure if they are safe or not. Sunny eats a huge variety of fruit, but i think he gets bored, especially now its winter there is not much about. these are all in season down here in the southern hemisphere right now (except the tomato - you get them all year round).

tamerillo
logan
pomelo
quince
custard apples
olives
tomatos (i hear different views on this one)
okra (bindi)
beans (some ppl say yes, some say no)
snow peas
fresh peas

thanks for your feedback

All sound great. I can't get all of those where I live -- wish I could get fresh green peas. Pretty Girl will eat steamed frozen peas, but fresh raw peas would be better.

Add soybeans (edamame) -- mine loves soybeans. Steamed for 2 minutes. Lots of protein & vitamins.

Grapes and mango also favorites. Have to go easy on the grapes, or she won't eat anything else.
