I live 15km north of byron bay nsw , have had a python in my garage once before but there is a few snakes around this area. Have been reading on net but have read nothing is 100 percent ?? Good to see what others thought !

Thanks !! Will start looking around , maybe ask other breeders what they use and suggest ? So hate snakes !!

If a large animal had come in and stolen your bird, there would be a noticeable point of access. Did you find one? If yes, what was it like? Is there any chance the bird simply escaped on his own? The idea of placing a ringneck cage inside a python cage seems a fair way to keep out a larger snake, but might be difficult to implement. I think you've done the best thing by bringing the survivors inside.
