I think my current favorite of Mazzie is this one, I'll have to look and see which one of Buddy I like the most.

can you enter more than once ? coz if not I will have to keep experimenting, I have a few I like already but want to play around some more. But if you can enter more than once I could enter one and re-enter another later.

Yeah jen kai has a blue breeders ring on. I was going to see if the vet could cut it off, but its kinda like his bit of jewellery now. I do worry about him catching on it though. Do you reckon I should have it taken off ? or should I leave it on there as his bit of jewellery and proof of good breeding ? I'm really in two minds

Kyria leave that on! It is a way on marking him as yours! It is his breeder band and can tell who was the breeder so if Kai was to ever get loose they can find you. Also it proves that he is a captive bred bird should anyone come to ask. No it will not catch on things...they are use to it and it is a perfect fit. This advice is coming from a former breeder...who has been contacted through bands for lost birds

My Milo has one and he's never caught it on anything. But then again he's a tiel and doesn't do much but be a good bird. So.. If I really thought there was a chance of him catching it on something I would have it taken off. You can keep the ring if anyone wants to see that he was banded. He's such a gorgeous bird. I love your garden shots. Beautiful.

If you do remove the band, you might consider putting a microchip in instead. They cant be removed, and I get far more information from a chip than I get from a band. I scan all incoming birds for a chip. I've had a chance to send 2 lost birds home due to chips... I think they are worth it.

Are IRNs big enough for microchips, They seem so small and dont have alot of fat on them, so do they have space in their little bodies for such a thing?

Oh yea, IRN's are plenty big enough for chips. I've seen them in cockatiels :). Just be sure that the person implanting the chip knows what they are doing.

Hey Neo...I dunno but in those pics of your newest addition she looks an awful lot like an albino? Maybe it's just the camera...but looks just, spot on to Prinny and she IS an albino...

I saw your pic hodad66 and I thought wow that sure would make a great magazine photo. Hmm maybe one of us ought to try to get an article written in a magazine somewhere...there is so little info out there. So many people don't know what they are missing

Yep yep I see it now. OMG she is soooo beautiful! A knock out that one! If I may...how much did she run you? I've heard they are sooo expensive. I personally like the pure snow white of an albino (then again I AM biased  )

$200 as a baby hand raised DNA'd prices have come down alot. Turqouise used to be one to two thousand now they are a few hundred, even Lacewings are dropping under $1000 and the Rainbows and so on are around the $1000 dollar mark now

Very sweet picture Mikaela!!

Thank you punkin. :D That pic is very symbolic to her curious personality.

I put her out to be a winch... and she is, but no more than any other female. She has good moods and bad moods and if Baby aint happy, aint nobody happy. hehe Too keep my post number down I am going to start doing this, I think, if it doesnt bother anyone
