New to this forum

Post by Lochie94 »

Hi Everyone

I am new to this forum and my parnter and I already have African lovebirds and scaley breasted lorikeets and we also wanted to add a ringneck to our volery of birds...

So anyway I thought I would join here to find out more about Ringnecks because I know little although my partner is knowledgable with most birds.

Oh and if anyone wants to know I'm in Townsville, North Queensland...

Cheers

Hi thanks for the replies. We got a baby 11 weeks old hand raised today it is yellow unsure of the sex however we don't care. Our children as so in love with it. One of our twin boys cried and cried so hard because he had to go to bed and so did the bird

Hi Ellie

Thanks for the reply. I'm just checking out everything in the taming section as our bird is still quite young and most of the information is very interesting and informative!!! Our bird seems to have bonded to me so far which I'm a little worried about as I have so much to do with the twins etc however I guess it's nice as my partner is normally the ones that the animals love :P

The petshops here charge nothing less than $250 so I guess our IRN was cheap in comparison to that :)

I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay

Wow, I guess it all depends on where you live as to the prices.
I have trouble selling my babies even at cheap prices as my location puts people off.

But it is great to see that someone does not care too much of price when they find their baby. :)
