Is this bluffing?

Post by Lauren16 »

Ok my 10 week old IRN has been very grouchy today.. she attacked my brother (who yesterday she had smooches with) & has bitten me 3 times today (not hard enough to break skin but hard enough) :S.. She's pinning her eyes at lots of things..
Is this bluffing? Or is she just having a bad day?

This may indeed be the start of bluffing. Just make sure you're patient and kind with her of course. She'll get through it.

here's some info on bluffing.

SkyBaby.....

I read this article as my son's ringneck has just started bluffing.
Yes she can give a nice firm nibble
I found the article great....I copied it for all the family to see.
She is settling down now....you do need to be very patient and spend lots of short bursts with them.........Lauren16.....
Best of luck :P

That's great she's settled down now!! I'm so lucky i don't have to go through this. Skye was also about 4 months old when we got him, so a bit too old to go through bluffing. He probably already had it. He's a cuddle bug now. xD
