Cupcake misses me when in cage, what can I do?

Hello you guys it has been almost three months since I have had cupcake. I get cupcake out about three hours a day when I am
at home on my day off I get her out half a day and when she is
in her cage she takes a fit a hollering sounds like a baby
She does it too when my husband is here. My husband cant get
her out when I am a working cupcake won't let him touch her
so every now and then she is a hollering whats the best advice
to do cupcake wants out all the time I love her but what can
I do to make her happy when she is in her cage? I have a toy
in her cage..

Have you considered leaving her cage open while you are gone? Mojito (our IRN) is a model citizen while we are gone. Keep in mind his wings are clipped and he never ventures off of his cage. Maybe this would help? Also, it might be a good idea for your husband to get more involved with the bird if he isn't already to help reduce her stress levels from you not being around. Just a thought.
