beautiful colors! and ya gotta love the bell. peanut plays this game where he bites and tries to attack the bells on his toys. he acts like their out to get him one min. and the next he's cuddling with it.

Thanx chickies,

I reeally want some close ups of Yoda. He just runs away.

Yep Gilbert attacks his bell sometimes. Its so funny.

In that pic hes talking into it trying to get my attention. He can hear his own voice. Like it echos. Sometimes says 'Oooo!' into it like hes discovered something very interesting!

How hard is it to get our babes to sit still for one second? Yoda is such a pretty babe, just wanna squeeze him everytime I see a pic of him. He is the same colour as Biscuit. Both are going to be such handsome boys when they grow up.
Love Gilbert, little camera ham

Tell me bout it! You know how many shots I had to take just to get Yoda to look at me. He doesnt seem to like looking at people. He'll turn his back as soon as someone comes within 2 metres of him.

Where as Gilbert gets jealous if hes not in the picture. In those pics I went to take photos of Yoda and Gilbert was behind me ringing his bell like 'Here! Im here! I want a photo!' So thats why I took that one of him and his bell. He just had to show everyone his bell!

I really hope Yoda is a boy. Ive got this feeling it is!

Baby has had a camera in his face since day 1. He actually loves picture time. Buddy, not so much... he tends to want to look away from the camera too.

Maybe the more they get snapped the more use to it they get, Baby gets all excited.

Hes such a dork, really is.

The blues are the most fantastic colours aren't they? I have noticed that in different lights Sapphire appears either turquoise or a really brilliant blue.

May I ask where you got Gilbert's bell? I am trying to find somewhere in Australia that has large bells, but so far all the toys only have the small ones on them (which Jade and Topaz take the ringer out of!).

Yoda is some light has a 'pinkish' tinge to him? Gilbert has got a 'thick' plumage, but Yoda has a thin feathers. Is this because hes young?

Topaz: Im sorry I dont remember where we got 'the bell' it was 6 years ago when we did. It used to have a wooden ring around the wooden part of it. But we had to cut that off because one of the cockatiels we had almost hung itself in it. It is now a 'safe' toy!
Im thinking of going around to craftshops to find some bells and wooden blocks to make toys out of.
