Re: Bluffing or territorial behaviour?
He is biting less viciously now, I put the back of my hand facing him so if he rages there is no pain, potentially painful bites feel like little nudges this way. I find this allows him to calm down faster realising his attacks have no effect. It is possible Cloud is experiencing the same act of ter...

Re: Small fly
Hey thanks for the advice I will look into the spray. I know it sounds strange for it to be a fly, but I got a seriously good look at it under a strong light, no mistaking it's a small fly due to wings and is slightly too large to be a mite. Usually I see it multiple times a day however today I had ...

Re: My Indian Ringneck wont eat any thing but Sunflower seed
I had the same problem at the start, I got him off them by gradually decreasing the amount of sunflower seeds in the seed mix and switched them to being treats instead. Had to sift the sunflower seeds out took awhile it's amazing how much sunflower seed they put in those mixes

Small fly
Hi Recently I have noticed a small insect crawling on my IRN Cloud, however it moves very quickly and stays most of the time under the feathers. At first I thought it was a tick or exo-parasite of some sort, the avian vet applied some form of treatment on the back of Cloud's neck and said if it is a...

Bluffing or territorial behaviour?
Hi Cloud is now 6 months old, suddenly he has started biting really hard and quite fiercely around his cage and on top. I no longer actively put my hand in to get him to step up, and instead open the cage door and wait for him to come to me. Is this perhaps just bluffing or just plain territorial be...

3 Month old Ringneck
Hi just wanted to consult with fellow owners whether appearance wise, Cloud looks healthy.
Also how do you get the smooth looking plumage?
Or does this take quite awhile?
Thanks

Cloud
Hi
This is my friend Cloud, only 3 months old so excuse the scruffy plumage. Been on this site for quite sometime however finally made an acc. on acquiring Cloud.
On the second day he was comfortably on my shoulder and exploring the living room, and now even steps up without hesitation.

Firstly, My new baby Cloud currently weighs at 50.00g is this a normal weight for his age? Secondly I have introduced him to pellets which he began e...
