Yeah mine loves banana chips and I give him some when he is nice to me. My mum doesn't even like birds and he still loves her!

yeah I have been asking the guy I bought him from and he said to wait a little longer before you can definately know. I just don't like waiting :? I'm from a town in NSW called Kiama. It's a really beautiful place! Thanks for your opinions everyone!

Welcome! Do you know when you're getting your new baby? I have an Indian Ringneck and he is the love of my life! I got mine when he was about 3 weeks old, he didn't really have any feathers and I raised him from then. It was a great experience. Do you have any names that you've picked yet?

your bird looks a little like mine and mine is a pastel. mine had black bits on its wings and its wings are more teal in colour than the rest of him. does yours look anything like that? sometimes its hard to tell in photos :?

we have an alexandrine (claude) and he acts like that all the time. i thought the neighbours would complain about it too :lol: he seems to love my mum, he will be quieter when i am by myself in the room with him but as soon as my mum comes in he will go nuts, but he calms down with food

i have a blue ringneck that i weaned from 2 weeks, it was very stressful when trying to feed him once he started to wean :? ..i found that warmed mashed veggies worked the best. do you add extra flavours to the mashed sweet potato? because my bird doesn't like it just by itself, if i add some garlic...

my bird's wings look like that but he/she has really light blue comming through on its stomach, and really pale blue tail feathers. :)
