No no, i just meant, do they have a leg ring... As I am purely curious if they came out of a huge flock, of birds where there are multiple the same colour, that the breeder could be certain the 2 that Rebecca Harry has are a male & female... As they are only 5 months old, so there is no way to b...

Here is typical male and female behaviour. The green is obviously the male, they stand tall, and put their wings out and display, where as the female - the grey turq - will crouch down, tipping her head back and putting her wings out slightly for the male.... http://imageshack.us/a/img208/5034/r06k....

Hi, do you know the sex of your birds? What age were you told they are? Unfortunately unless you have a young male, who will then be developing his ring, there is no way to gauge age. Male ringnecks start getting their rings from about 18months, and are usually fully rung by 3 years, which would giv...

Your bird needs to see a vet.
If he cannot move his head indicates there is a problem. How do you know he is not in pain?
Birds hide pain and illness very well. Just because he seems to be better, does not mean he is getting better.

Some males & females just do not pair no matter how long you leave them together. I suggest you seperate them, as some hens have been known to kill their male partner if they do not fancy them....

Rather be safe than sorry, and maybe try pairing her with a new male!
