IS IT POSSIBLE FOR A 16 MONTH OLD TO START GETTING THE RED AROUND HIS NECK BEFORE THE BLACK COMES IN?
I don't see why not- Hane's first signs of a ring were one single orange feather. It's just where he molted first.
Hane and Tsume didn't get their rings until late. Some get their rings sooner. Depends on your bird. ^^
