My breeder always tells buyers he believes all of the babies to be female thereby, keeping a buyer that would get rid of a girl when the ring didnt appear from buying from him/her. Pretty smart.

I dont care if one of my babies gets a ring on their butt, I'd still love them. People actually forsake their birds for the lack of a ring. What happened to the bonding? To falling in love? People like that must just want something pretty to look over at.

Now if one needs a boy to breed, then that is different. In that case, DNA. Dont wait 2 yrs and allow the bird to bond with you just to get rid of it.

Your birds are AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL! You should be very proud! And I have no idea how you're raising such a TINY baby--Elka! I was nervous just looking at the picture of her! Wow! Best of luck to you with her.

JUST BEAUTIFUL!
