beak...is this normal

i dont know if u can see properly on the picture but on his beak at the bottom it looks as if it has chipped off. it doesn't seem to bothering him is this normal???

Well, if its bothering him, he would not be acting normal.
Just call a vet or do what's best for you.

Skye's beak looks like this too. I think it's normal. He doesn't seem to notice this.

hi i know its not the same but our bluey had what looked like a cracked beak and weve noticed that he loves wiping his beak on the perch in the link below and i think the stuff in the perch is really good for their beaks and blueys beak is looking loads better ... dont know if u already have one but if not would defently recommend getting one ... its also good for nails too

thanks so much! I'm kind of calling him/her Ani right now, as can be short for either Anakin or Annabelle. If the baby is a girl, I may change her name to Princess Leia. I don't know.. still unnamed. :D

i keep looking at the pic she's adorable, its made me want to get one but i stil live at home with my parents and they'd kill me if i bought another one haha archie is messy enough!! maybe when i get my own house haha

Lol yup. My parents were rather unreasonable about it all so I found it easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission. :D I'm lucky my husband is a bit more accepting and easily convinced, even though he's not much of an animal person either. He does love our birds though.
