my friend's IRN has started maturing, his ring is starting to show

and it appears he is in love with this ball

when we tap the ball, paully will come running

paully is very tame when we hold the ball or when the ball is around
its strange. When the ball is not present he tends to bight and ark up at us

I have owned females only so i am guess ing he is courting withthe ball??

please let me know what you think .

If he was courting wouldnt he be violent towards us when the ball is present????

That is so cute and funny at the same time.

Looks like he is doing the "lurv" dance to me. One of my guys do a similar move to his reflection in his shiny stainless steel treat bowl. Nothing like loving yourself hey lol.

My guy, Skye, does the exact same thing to his balls. Yup.. i think he's just in love with this toys. XD lol Balls are my baby's favorite toys.

Totally... I think they are ne of the coolest looking birds. I love the bright redish beaks against all the pretty colors.

The only parrot that has a chance with then is a macaw, but a macaw can scream so loud, which is a bit** lols

Yup definately doing the male thing with the ball, he is showing the ball how beatiful he is and what a good breeder he would make, trying to woo it and also feeding it to show how well he would feed it while on the nest. He may also just be practicing, as I am sure he knows full well this is not a female IRN but its as good an object as any to have some fun with. Mine do it to my big toe, or to a reflection of any kind, Kai use to do it to a banana's in pyjama's rolly pop up toy or to a rolled up newspaper ball.

Jordan us to do it to Kai (before kai got mickey) and Jordan now does it to pickle and they are all boys.. so ...

boys will be boys.
