i have 4 irns in an avairy,1 green male(2 1/2 yrs),1 blue male(16mths) ,1 yellow female(19mths) and 1 grey female(2 1/2yrs)
im just wondering come breeding season should i seperate the pairs
from what i can tell the green and grey have paired up as well as the blue and yellow.
there in an avairy 5m square so should i seperate or not, they all seem to get along fine but will things change when the breeding season comes around.

I have a large aviary, (2 mts wide x 3 mtrs long x 8 foot high), that used to house 3 ringies but when it came to breeding season, the odd one out was picked on and chased all day every day so I took him out and gave him an avairy of his own. Not sure if he was being picked on as he was the extra man on the scene or not.
I have my others paired up in their avaries and they try to fight between cages, especially during breeding season.

Just to be on the safe side, I seperate all my pairs. :)

Partition your large fight and separate the pairs.
