HI- I got an 11 month old indian ringneck parakeet today. His name is Puji which is what his previous owner named it- he said it means gentle. I love his name so I'm keeping him as Puji. He does live up to his name too. He came with his cage and toys so we are off to a great start. He will sit on my hand already- but is of course very shy right now- I tried to hand feed him a avi cake but won't take it from me. He will try whatever I give him though if I just put it on the side top flap of his cage.
I also have a quaker parrot- right now they have only heard each other since I'm keeping them away from each other as a precaution.

I have a ringneck who is about 25 weeks. He has started tearing up the newspaper in the bottom of his cage going to his water, dipping it in then chewing it.WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
