Talking in Sleep

Post by buzyparents »

Hi All!

What does it mean when your IRN is sleeping (head tucked) and starts mumbling and making chirping noises? Is he dreaming?

Thanks All!

are you sure he is actually sleeping ? , that's when mine were practicing their talking, but when I looked closely he was awake but hiding his head.

I used to think it was presleep chatter, alot of the time it is. But I caught my guy doing it, I thought he might have wanted attention, I was making talking noises while walking up to him... touched him.. and he damn near fell off the perch lol

They do dream, like alot of animals show. Just not always asleep, though it does happen now and then.

Hi,

My guys do it when they are happy and snoozing. If I talk to them, they answer so I figure they can't be asleep. Just having a bit of a doze.
