Hi Kunalb

Looks like you have a very cute Indian Ringneck to me. :)

Each bird is different but my birds generally start to eat less formula at around 5-6 weeks of age. Then start to pick at solid foods like fruit/veg, sprouted seeds etc. By the time they are 9-10 weeks old, they are weaned and eating seeds, sprouted seeds, fruit and veg.

Close enough though, looks like its an Alexandrine bub. The body size at that stage is a bit too big for an IRN. The beak is also more pronounced nice and high like the skull just keeps going.

I thought Alex baby straight up. Looks just like one, longer flatter head, with the larger more prominent beak.

Well unless you have really tiny hands, its an Alexandrine sized young bird.

It could be a hybrid, impossible to tell at this point.

An Alexandrine is reffered to as a Ringnecked parrot by many countries, but in essence they are Alexandrines.

I look forward to taking a look at it as it ages, but that beak and body size is not your standard IRN.
