New to IRNs..help with these colours please?

Post by Jaime »

Hi,
2 little ringnecks have recently joined our family, but not knowing anything about colour/mutations I was hoping someone would be able to tell me the colour.
They are essentially a blue and a grey, but I was wondering if there was a more specific name?

This is also my first attempt at posting a pic...I apologise in advance if I get it wrong lol.

Thanks!

They are gorgeous!

I think that they are only called just that- a Grey and a Blue.

Heya there, you have two lovely looking Cinnamon birds.

Cinnamon Grey (silver)
Cinnamon Blue (sky blue)

Its a mutation that makes the colours go a powdery version of their true nature, with slight brown tinges to flights, and light coloured toe nails.

Thanks for your help!

Now I just have to wait for the DNA results to come back to give them names.....yub yub blue and yub yub grey just isn't very inspired lol.

Hubby calls them yub yub because of the noise they make when they see the fruit and veg heading their way. Little piglets that they are
