Hi everyone, I havnt been here in a while and wow so much to catch up on!
Well, a little update and a question.
After I took Lolas rotten eggs away from her way back in sep/oct, I took the nest box aswell. They seem to go back to the normal routine and lost interest in each other, even had a few fights, where poor Jibby got hurt. Hes all better again.
But the last few days, my 2 have been getting a little closer again! and today.. I heard little 'I love you' mutterings coming from the kitchen. So I went to check on them... and...
I just caught them, in the usual mating spot (above the kitchen cabinets) doing it again!!!
But its now december (summer time here)! What the???
I have not given them any reason to do it again. No nest box, early nights sleep etc. Why again??? Does this happen???
Do I need to give them the box again???
