I have a Blue Cock bird and our Hen is Lutino, can any one tell me what the offpring's colour will more than likely be or explain / simplify the color chart thing, i just cant seem to work out the colour mutation charts.

this is our birds first season and these are our first young ones, i thought i was going to have to throw the eggs as the Hen seemed to spend more time off the eggs than on them but only a few days ago when i went in to grab the eggs there were three babies huddle together swaying side to side, i estimate them to be 3 days old at the time of the photo.

I can not see well enough the eyes of the young but they all seem to have dark eyes?

If its a normal lutino and a normal blue, then all young will actually be green.

Split means they carry the following genes, however are not visual.

If the hen is split blue as well.

If any of your young have pink eyes, then the blue male is also split to ino... which means you might be getting some Albino or Lutino babies depending on the hens genes.

hmmm, i really cant remember if the parents were/are splits,
but from what you say about the eyes then these will be green.
