another 2 i just aquired the blue one is 7 months old and the yellow one is 13 months old both male i want to match them up with hens in abot 6 months or the next breeding season or do i get it sooner so they get to date first

Congrats on your new birds :)

Some breeders keep all the males in one aviary and females in another and only pair them up before breeding season, others, like me, keep the pairs together all year round.

So I guess it doesn't really matter when you introduce the girls to the boys.

I bought a hen last year who didn't worry about formalities of "getting to know you", she was ready for a relationship, NOW!! lol :P

thanks for the info ill keep the male seperate from the female and when its time ill pick the one who are nice to me and do what i want lol i am jolking
