Discovered dry blood underneath my birds tail feather! HELP

I discovered a large mass of dry blood underneath my baby's tail feather it's on his skin not his vent. I washed him off and got some of it off and noticed some fresh blood underneath the dry blood. I'm really scared and don't know if I should take him to a vet he has molted and he has lost his tail feathers they were extremely fragile and broke off easily. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
