Hello everyone,
it's my first post on here. I have recently bought an indian ringneck parrot, he's blue and so beautiful but i have only just noticed that all his claws are missing. Why is this? Will it effect him in the long run if they don't grow back? should i book him into the vets for a check up? I bought him from a proper breeder.

If the quicks are missing they may never grow back, a vet might be able to tell you if the quicks are still there, talons are there for a purpose, to protect the feet, these birds like to climb, and their feet are used for gripping perches etc.
