Question about a color...

Hi all! I don't post much but I am on here reading all the time.
I have a question about a ringneck I just saw at a store... It looked yellow but also had hints of green (almost like a green wash). It's legs and toes were a peachy flesh color. They had it labeled as a lutino but it didn't have the red eyes (I have a lutino and this one looked nothing like him). Any ideas on the color? I wish I could have gotten a picture but I couldn't.
Also, any ideas on what would be the outcome if paired with a lutino?
Thanks in advance!

Have you tried searching the net for a bird that looks the same or similar colouring?
I have no idea what the colour could be

Probably a Green Lacewing
or a Green Cinnamon

Thanks Jay! The top one looks right - Green Lacewing. I was searching for some pics...
So, what about a pairing with a lutino?

Depending on gender of parents, results will vary.
Lutino male x Green Lacewing hen
=Green Pallidino males
=Lutino hens
Green Lacewing male x Lutino hen
=Green Pallidino males
=Green Lacewing hens

Thanks again Jay!
(I have been trying the genetic calculator but with no luck!)
The male is lutino and I believe the green lacewing is female. Is there any other pairings that would be more optimal? I do have a turquoise male also...

Turquoise birds can pretty much combine to good effect with any mutation.
To use the GenCalc on the above pairings...
Select Pallid under the 1.0 (Male) Visual column. Select Ino under the 0.1 (Female) Visual column.
Then just do the reverse for the other pairing.
Read through the GenCalc thread

Don't hesitate to continue on that thread if you have any questions.

ok... I may be way off but I tried it again! Turquoise Blue male (one parent was blue) with green lacewing:
male
50.0% 1.0 green /turquoise(parblue) pallid
50.0% 1.0 green /blue pallid
female
50.0% 0.1 green /turquoise(parblue)
50.0% 0.1 green /blue
Am I off???

You got it. As you can see, all offsprings are Green. Get a Green Lacewing hen that is split to Blue or split to Turquoise and your results would be a whole lot better.
