Hi Friends,
I just got a Cinnamon Ringneck and has been told that he is a male.
But he don't show any neck band as of now so I am doubtful if I am having an male or female.
Could anybody of you recognize it from the picture if its a male or female?

These birds seem picky about eating pellets.Of the ones mentioned above, Alexandrine parakeets, Rose-ringed parakeets and Plum-headed parakeets are the three most common species entangled in the net of illegal wildlife trade in India.

You don't say how old. The males don't get their collar until around 18 months. We were lied to about Sanjay being Male, she was 8 weeks old. But at age 3 yrs she began clucking and crouching. So we knew she was definitely a hen, and renamed her Sweetie. It doesn't matter y' know, because you won't stop loving your fid.

Mine was aviary hatched and parent reared in the UK. Not All have been smuggled in illegally.
