What babies would I get?

I would really like somethng that will produce some sort of blue babies. Not that it really matters in the end, just as long as the chicks are healthy! I have a friend who would like a blue IRN, and I would love to be able to supply her with one. (eventually) :D

I have no idea when it comes to the genetics, and can't work out that gencalc :(

Sorry for being a pest! :?

Blue male x Silver (Grey Cinnamon) hen
=25% Grey/Cinnamon males
=25% Blue/Cinnamon males
=25% Grey hens
=25% Blue hens

A pleasure to help.

This is the blue cock I just bought. Does he look okay to breed? He is a normal blue isn't he? His ring has not fully formed yet, should I wait another year before giving him a go? There is still a few months yet before breeding season here. If he is not ready this year, I will keep looking, and save him for next year!

He's a normal Blue and seems healthy and in good feather. Is he going on two years old? Although 3 years or older males are ideal, in my experience, 2-year old males have a 50/50 chance of being mature enough to breed and it's always worth the try if opportunity arises for him to step up to the plate.

Yes, he is very close to 2 years old, and by breeding season he will be 2 years old.

I might find him a girlfriend then, and see what happens.

Thanks so much for your help!
